Post-Publication Discussion
- Policy Statement
RAMATEKNO encourages scholarly discussion and constructive scientific criticism after publication to promote transparency, research integrity, and the continuous development of scientific knowledge. The journal recognizes that post-publication discussion is an important part of the scholarly communication process.
Readers, researchers, authors, and other interested parties are encouraged to submit comments, questions, or concerns regarding articles published in RAMATEKNO. All submissions must be evidence-based, professionally presented, and relevant to the scientific content of the article.
- Submission of Post-Publication Comments
Readers may submit comments or concerns regarding a published article by contacting the editorial office through the official journal website or the journal's designated communication channel.
Submissions should clearly identify the article under discussion, including its title, author names, publication year, and DOI or URL, where available. The submission should explain the scientific issue raised and provide supporting evidence or references when appropriate.
Comments may address, but are not limited to:
- Research methodology, data analysis, or interpretation of results.
- The validity, reliability, or reproducibility of the reported findings.
- Errors, inconsistencies, or ambiguities in the published article.
- Relevant literature or scientific evidence that was not adequately considered.
- Potential concerns regarding research integrity or publication ethics.
- Editorial Assessment
The editorial team will assess submitted comments to determine their relevance, scientific merit, clarity, and suitability for publication.
Comments must be factual, constructive, and respectful. Submissions containing personal attacks, defamatory statements, unsupported allegations, or irrelevant material may be rejected.
Where necessary, the editor may consult independent experts or invite the original authors to respond before making a decision. The editorial team will handle all submissions impartially and in accordance with the journal's editorial policies.
- Authors' Right to Respond
Authors of the original article will generally be given an opportunity to respond to substantive scientific comments concerning their work.
Responses should address the issues raised directly, provide supporting evidence where appropriate, and maintain a professional and objective tone.
Depending on the editorial assessment, the journal may publish the comments and the authors' responses together or separately. Publication decisions will be based on scientific relevance, quality, and compliance with the journal's editorial and ethical standards.
- Corrections to Published Articles
If an error is identified in a published article, the journal will evaluate its nature and potential impact on the accuracy or interpretation of the research.
Minor errors that do not affect the scientific validity of the article may be corrected through an appropriate editorial correction. Errors that materially affect the interpretation or reliability of the findings will receive further assessment to determine the appropriate corrective action.
Corrections will be clearly identified, linked to the original article, and published in a manner that maintains transparency and preserves the scholarly record.
- Expressions of Concern and Retractions
If credible concerns arise regarding the integrity or reliability of a published article, the journal may conduct an investigation and take appropriate action.
An expression of concern may be published when significant questions remain unresolved while further investigation is underway.
Retraction may be considered when evidence establishes that an article contains seriously unreliable findings, plagiarism, fabricated or falsified data, or other substantial violations of publication ethics.
All decisions concerning corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions will be made by the editorial team based on the available evidence and relevant publication ethics guidance.
- Ethical Standards and Confidentiality
All parties involved in post-publication discussion are expected to maintain academic integrity, professional conduct, and respect for the individuals concerned.
The journal will handle allegations and supporting documentation confidentially to the extent reasonably possible during the assessment process. Information may be shared with relevant parties when necessary to evaluate concerns fairly and protect the integrity of the scholarly record.
- Editorial Responsibility
The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for overseeing post-publication discussions, evaluating proposed corrections, and determining appropriate editorial actions.
RAMATEKNO is committed to addressing legitimate scientific concerns fairly, transparently, and promptly. The journal aims to ensure that published research remains accessible while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.
