Autorship_Criteria
The journal is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and accountability in authorship. Authorship should reflect substantial intellectual contributions to the research and manuscript preparation. All individuals listed as authors must meet the following criteria.
- Authorship Requirements
An individual qualifies as an author if they meet all of the following criteria:
- Substantial Contribution: Made substantial contributions to the conception or design of the study, data acquisition, data analysis, or interpretation of the research findings.
- Writing and Revision: Participated in drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content.
- Final Approval: Reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript before submission or publication.
- Accountability: Agreed to be accountable for their contributions and to help ensure that any questions regarding the accuracy or integrity of the research are appropriately investigated and resolved.
All authors must satisfy these criteria to be listed as authors.
- Contributions That Do Not Qualify for Authorship
Individuals who contribute only through funding acquisition, general supervision, administrative support, technical assistance, or language editing without meeting all authorship criteria should not be listed as authors. Their contributions may be acknowledged in the Acknowledgments section, with their permission.
- Corresponding Author Responsibilities
The corresponding author serves as the primary contact between the journal and all authors. The corresponding author is responsible for:
- Ensuring that all authors meet the journal's authorship criteria.
- Confirming that all authors have approved the submitted manuscript and its final version.
- Providing accurate author names, affiliations, and contact information.
- Coordinating communication with co-authors throughout the editorial and publication process.
- Ensuring that author contributions and relevant declarations are accurately reported.
- Author Contributions
Authors are encouraged to provide a statement describing each author's contribution to the manuscript. The journal recommends using the Contributor Roles Taxonomy (CRediT) to improve transparency regarding individual contributions.
- Changes in Authorship
Any request to add, remove, or rearrange authors after manuscript submission must be accompanied by a written explanation and the agreement of all affected authors. The change is subject to editorial approval. Changes in authorship after acceptance or publication will be considered only in accordance with the journal's editorial policies and applicable publication ethics guidelines.
- Ethical Authorship Practices
The journal does not permit gift authorship, guest authorship, or ghost authorship. All listed authors must have made genuine scholarly contributions and accept responsibility for the integrity of the work. Authorship disputes will be handled in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies and relevant COPE guidance.
